Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, the contacts_data.php endpoint uses a weaker permission check (isAdministratorUsers(), requiring only rol_edit_user=true) than the frontend UI (contacts.php) which correctly requires the stronger isAdministrator() (requiring rol_administrator=true) and the contacts_show_all system setting. A user manager who is not a full administrator can directly request contacts_data.php?mem_show_filter=3 to retrieve all user records across all organizations in the Admidio instance, bypassing multi-tenant organization isolation. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

WDR201A WiFi Extender (HW V2.1, FW LFMZX28040922V1.02) contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the firewall.cgi and makeRequest.cgi binaries that allows unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the saved return address by sending a POST request with a Content-Length header exceeding 512 bytes. Attackers can exploit insufficient length validation in the fgets() call to achieve arbitrary code execution through return-oriented programming or return-to-libc techniques.

WDR201A WiFi Extender (HW V2.1, FW LFMZX28040922V1.02) contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the makeRequest.cgi binary that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands by injecting malicious input into the set_time or StartSniffer functions. Attackers can craft a POST request with specially crafted ampersand-delimited parameters to bypass input sanitization and execute commands with a maximum length of 31 bytes through the date command or channel parameter processing.

The Quiz Maker by AYS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'rate_reason' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.7.1.29 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: require minimum ACE size in smb_check_perm_dacl() Both ACE-walk loops in smb_check_perm_dacl() only guard against an under-sized remaining buffer, not against an ACE whose declared `ace->size` is smaller than the struct it claims to describe: if (offsetof(struct smb_ace, access_req) > aces_size) break; ace_size = le16_to_cpu(ace->size); if (ace_size > aces_size) break; The first check only requires the 4-byte ACE header to be in bounds; it does not require access_req (4 bytes at offset 4) to be readable. An attacker who has set a crafted DACL on a file they own can declare ace->size == 4 with aces_size == 4, pass both checks, and then granted |= le32_to_cpu(ace->access_req); /* upper loop */ compare_sids(&sid, &ace->sid); /* lower loop */ reads access_req at offset 4 (OOB by up to 4 bytes) and ace->sid at offset 8 (OOB by up to CIFS_SID_BASE_SIZE + SID_MAX_SUB_AUTHORITIES * 4 bytes). Tighten both loops to require ace_size >= offsetof(struct smb_ace, sid) + CIFS_SID_BASE_SIZE which is the smallest valid on-wire ACE layout (4-byte header + 4-byte access_req + 8-byte sid base with zero sub-auths). Also reject ACEs whose sid.num_subauth exceeds SID_MAX_SUB_AUTHORITIES before letting compare_sids() dereference sub_auth[] entries. parse_sec_desc() already enforces an equivalent check (lines 441-448); smb_check_perm_dacl() simply grew weaker validation over time. Reachability: authenticated SMB client with permission to set an ACL on a file. On a subsequent CREATE against that file, the kernel walks the stored DACL via smb_check_perm_dacl() and triggers the OOB read. Not pre-auth, and the OOB read is not reflected to the attacker, but KASAN reports and kernel state corruption are possible.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate num_aces and harden ACE walk in smb_inherit_dacl() smb_inherit_dacl() trusts the on-disk num_aces value from the parent directory's DACL xattr and uses it to size a heap allocation: aces_base = kmalloc(sizeof(struct smb_ace) * num_aces * 2, ...); num_aces is a u16 read from le16_to_cpu(parent_pdacl->num_aces) without checking that it is consistent with the declared pdacl_size. An authenticated client whose parent directory's security.NTACL is tampered (e.g. via offline xattr corruption or a concurrent path that bypasses parse_dacl()) can present num_aces = 65535 with minimal actual ACE data. This causes a ~8 MB allocation (not kzalloc, so uninitialized) that the subsequent loop only partially populates, and may also overflow the three-way size_t multiply on 32-bit kernels. Additionally, the ACE walk loop uses the weaker offsetof(struct smb_ace, access_req) minimum size check rather than the minimum valid on-wire ACE size, and does not reject ACEs whose declared size is below the minimum. Reproduced on UML + KASAN + LOCKDEP against the real ksmbd code path. A legitimate mount.cifs client creates a parent directory over SMB (ksmbd writes a valid security.NTACL xattr), then the NTACL blob on the backing filesystem is rewritten to set num_aces = 0xFFFF while keeping the posix_acl_hash bytes intact so ksmbd_vfs_get_sd_xattr()'s hash check still passes. No warning, no splat. Fix by: 1. Validating num_aces against pdacl_size using the same formula applied in parse_dacl(). 2. Replacing the raw kmalloc(sizeof * num_aces * 2) with kmalloc_array(num_aces * 2, sizeof(...)) for overflow-safe allocation. 3. Tightening the per-ACE loop guard to require the minimum valid ACE size (offsetof(smb_ace, sid) + CIFS_SID_BASE_SIZE) and rejecting under-sized ACEs, matching the hardening in smb_check_perm_dacl() and parse_dacl(). v1 -> v2: - Replace the synthetic test-module splat in the changelog with a real-path UML + KASAN reproduction driven through mount.cifs and SMB2 CREATE; Namjae flagged the kcifs3_test_inherit_dacl_old name in v1 since it does not exist in ksmbd. - Drop the commit-hash citation from the code comment per Namjae's review; keep the parse_dacl() pointer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/gt: fix refcount underflow in intel_engine_park_heartbeat A use-after-free / refcount underflow is possible when the heartbeat worker and intel_engine_park_heartbeat() race to release the same engine->heartbeat.systole request. The heartbeat worker reads engine->heartbeat.systole and calls i915_request_put() on it when the request is complete, but clears the pointer in a separate, non-atomic step. Concurrently, a request retirement on another CPU can drop the engine wakeref to zero, triggering __engine_park() -> intel_engine_park_heartbeat(). Prior to 2026.1.0, The organiser search in the pretalx backend rendered submission titles, speaker display names, and user names/emails into the result dropdown using innerHTML string interpolation. Any user who controls one of those fields (which includes any registered user whose display name is looked up by an administrator) could include HTML or JavaScript that would execute in an organiser's browser when the organiser's search query matched the malicious record. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.1.0.

Prior to version 1.8.215, when `APP_SHOW_ONLY_ASSIGNED_CONVERSATIONS` is enabled, direct conversation view correctly blocks users who are neither the assignee nor the creator. The `save_draft` AJAX path is weaker. A direct POST can create a draft inside a conversation that is hidden in the UI. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability.

Spinnaker is an open source, multi-cloud continuous delivery platform. Echo like some other services, uses SPeL (Spring Expression Language) to process information - specifically around expected artifacts. In versions prior to 2026.1.0, 2026.0.1, 2025.4.2, and 2025.3.2, unlike orca, it was NOT restricting that context to a set of trusted classes, but allowing FULL JVM access. This enabled a user to use arbitrary java classes which allow deep access to the system. This enabled the ability to invoke commands, access files, etc. Versions 2026.1.0, 2026.0.1, 2025.4.2, and 2025.3.2 contain a patch. As a workaround, disable echo entirely.

The Form Maker by 10Web plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'ip_search', 'startdate', 'enddate', 'username_search', and 'useremail_search' parameters in all versions up to, and including, 1.15.40. This is due to the `WDW_FM_Library::validate_data()` method calling `stripslashes()` on user input (removing WordPress's `wp_magic_quotes()` protection) and the `FMModelSubmissions_fm::get_labels_parameters()` function directly concatenating user-supplied values into SQL queries without using `$wpdb->prepare()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Additionally, the Submissions controller skips nonce verification for the `display` task, which means this vulnerability can be triggered via CSRF by tricking an administrator into clicking a crafted link.
