Following the initial publication of the Security Advisory about a denial of service (DoS) condition in Cisco Crosswork Network Controller and Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO), additional information has been made available to the Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT). Upon further analysis, the Cisco PSIRT has reclassified this issue as a customer-configurable, resource management issue rather than a security vulnerability.

F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to version 4.2.0, the bounds check byteOffset + dataSize > fileSize uses U32 addition that wraps around on overflow. An attacker-crafted DataPacket with byteOffset=0xFFFFFF9C and dataSize=100 overflows to 0, bypassing the check entirely. The subsequent file write proceeds at the original ~4GB offset. Additionally, Svc/FileUplink/File.cpp:20-31 performs no sanitization on the destination file path. Combined, these allow writing arbitrary data to any file at any offset. The impact is arbitrary file write leading to remote code execution on embedded targets. Note that this is a logic bug. ASAN does not detect it because all memory accesses are within valid buffers — the corruption occurs in file I/O. Version 4.2.0 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.

etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system. Prior to versions 3.4.42, 3.5.28, and 3.6.9, an authenticated user with RBAC restricted permissions on key ranges can use nested transactions to bypass all key-level authorization. This allows any authenticated user with direct access to etcd to effectively ignore all key range restrictions, accessing the entire etcd data store. Kubernetes does not rely on etcd’s built-in authentication and authorization. Instead, the API server handles authentication and authorization itself, so typical Kubernetes deployments are not affected. Versions 3.4.42, 3.5.28, and 3.6.9 contain a patch. If upgrading is not immediately possible, reduce exposure by treating the affected RPCs as unauthenticated in practice. Restrict network access to etcd server ports so only trusted components can connect and require strong client identity at the transport layer, such as mTLS with tightly scoped client certificate distribution.

crun is an open source OCI Container Runtime fully written in C. In versions 1.19 through 1.26, the `crun exec` option `-u` (`--user`) is incorrectly parsed. The value `1` is interpreted as UID 0 and GID 0 when it should have been UID 1 and GID 0. The process thus runs with higher privileges than expected. Version 1.27 patches the issue.

FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. In versions 1.8.208 and below, the ThreadPolicy::edit() method contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows any authenticated user (regardless of role or mailbox access) to read and modify all customer-created thread messages across all mailboxes. This flaw enables silent modification of customer messages (evidence tampering), bypasses the entire mailbox permission model, and constitutes a GDPR/compliance violation. The issue has been fixed in version 1.8.209.

freescout

FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.24.0, there is an out-of-bounds read in freerdp_bitmap_decompress_planar when SrcSize is 0. The function dereferences *srcp (which points to pSrcData) without first verifying that SrcSize >= 1. When SrcSize is 0 and pSrcData is non-NULL, this reads one byte past the end of the source buffer. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.24.0.

Unhead is a document head and template manager. Prior to 2.1.11, The link.href check in makeTagSafe (safe.ts) uses String.includes(), which is case-sensitive. Browsers treat URI schemes case-insensitively. DATA:text/css,... is the same as data:text/css,... to the browser, but 'DATA:...'.includes('data:') returns false. An attacker can inject arbitrary CSS for UI redressing or data exfiltration via CSS attribute selectors with background-image callbacks. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.11.

hoppscotch is an open source API development ecosystem. Prior to version 2026.2.1, the DELETE /v1/access-tokens/revoke endpoint allows any authenticated user to delete any other user's PAT by providing its ID, with no ownership verification. This issue has been patched in version 2026.2.1.

Gradio is an open-source Python package designed for quick prototyping. Starting in version 4.16.0 and prior to version 6.6.0, Gradio applications running outside of Hugging Face Spaces automatically enable "mocked" OAuth routes when OAuth components (e.g. `gr.LoginButton`) are used. When a user visits `/login/huggingface`, the server retrieves its own Hugging Face access token via `huggingface_hub.get_token()` and stores it in the visitor's session cookie. If the application is network-accessible, any remote attacker can trigger this flow to steal the server owner's HF token. The session cookie is signed with a hardcoded secret derived from the string `"-v4"`, making the payload trivially decodable. Version 6.6.0 fixes the issue.

Kruise provides automated management of large-scale applications on Kubernetes. Prior to versions 1.8.3 and 1.7.5, PodProbeMarker allows defining custom probes with TCPSocket or HTTPGet handlers. The webhook validation does not restrict the Host field in these probe configurations. Since kruise-daemon runs with hostNetwork=true, it executes probes from the node network namespace. An attacker with PodProbeMarker creation permission can specify arbitrary Host values to trigger SSRF from the node, perform port scanning, and receive response feedback through NodePodProbe status messages. Versions 1.8.3 and 1.7.5 patch the issue.

Winter is a free, open-source content management system (CMS) based on the Laravel PHP framework. Versions of Winter CMS before 1.2.10 allow users with access to the CMS Asset Manager were able to upload SVGs without automatic sanitization. To actively exploit this security issue, an attacker would need access to the Backend with a user account with the following permission: cms.manage_assets. The Winter CMS maintainers strongly recommend that the cms.manage_assets permission only be reserved to trusted administrators and developers in general. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.10.

Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to versions 20.7-cert9, 20.18.2, 21.12.1, 22.8.2, and 23.2.2, the asterisk/contrib/scripts/ast_coredumper runs as root, as noted by the NOTES tag on line 689 of the ast_coredumper file. The script will source the contents of /etc/asterisk/ast_debug_tools.conf, which resides in a folder that is writeable by the asterisk user:group. Due to the /etc/asterisk/ast_debug_tools.conf file following bash semantics and it being loaded; an attacker with write permissions may add or modify the file such that when the root ast_coredumper is run; it would source and thereby execute arbitrary bash code found in the /etc/asterisk/ast_debug_tools.conf. This issue has been patched in versions 20.7-cert9, 20.18.2, 21.12.1, 22.8.2, and 23.2.2.

Prior to versions 20.7-cert9, 20.18.2, 21.12.1, 22.8.2, and 23.2.2, when ast_coredumper writes its gdb init and output files to a directory that is world-writable (for example /tmp), an attacker with write permission(which is all users on a linux system) to that directory can cause root to execute arbitrary commands or overwrite arbitrary files by controlling the gdb init file and output paths. This issue has been patched in versions 20.7-cert9, 20.18.2, 21.12.1, 22.8.2, and 23.2.2.

sigstore-python is a Python tool for generating and verifying Sigstore signatures. Prior to version 4.2.0, the sigstore-python OAuth authentication flow is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery. `_OAuthSession` creates a unique "state" and sends it as a parameter in the authentication request but the "state" in the server response seems not not be cross-checked with this value. Version 4.2.0 contains a patch for the issue.

Pepr is a type safe K8s middleware. Prior to 1.0.5 , Pepr defaults to a cluster-admin RBAC configuration and does not explicitly force or enforce least-privilege guidance for module authors. The default behavior exists to make the “getting started” experience smooth: new users can experiment with Pepr and create resources dynamically without needing to pre-configure RBAC. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.5.

(conda) Constructor is a tool which allows constructing an installer for a collection of conda packages. Prior to version 3.11.3, shell installer scripts process the installation prefix (user_prefix) using an eval statement, which executes unsanitized user input as shell code. Although the script runs with user privileges (not root), an attacker could exploit this by injecting arbitrary commands through a malicious path during installation. Exploitation requires explicit user action. This issue has been patched in version 3.11.3.

GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources. In versions prior to 4.2.10 and 4.4.5, the search end-point response headers contain information about Elasticsearch software in use. This information is valuable from a security point of view because it allows software used by the server to be easily identified. GeoNetwork 4.4.5 and 4.2.10 fix this issue. No known workarounds are available.

A Broken Object Level Authorization (BOLA) vulnerability in Indico through 3.3.5 allows attackers to read information by sending a crafted POST request to the component /api/principals. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because the product intentionally lets all users retrieve certain information about other user accounts (this functionality is, in the current design, not restricted to any privileged roles such as event organizer).

Symphony process is a module for the Symphony PHP framework which executes commands in sub-processes. On Windows, when an executable file named `cmd.exe` is located in the current working directory it will be called by the `Process` class when preparing command arguments, leading to possible hijacking. This issue has been addressed in release versions 5.4.46, 6.4.14, and 7.1.7. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
