A Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in the DHCP daemon (jdhcpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series, allows an adjacent, unauthenticated attacker to cause a memory leak, that will eventually cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS). In a DHCPv6 over PPPoE, or DHCPv6 over VLAN with Active lease query or Bulk lease query scenario, every subscriber logout will leak a small amount of memory. When all available memory has been exhausted, jdhcpd will crash and restart which causes a complete service impact until the process has recovered. The memory usage of jdhcpd can be monitored with: user@host> show system processes extensive | match jdhcpd This issue affects Junos OS: * all versions before 22.4R3-S1, * 23.2 versions before 23.2R2, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2.

Pi-hole Admin Interface is a web interface for managing Pi-hole, a network-level ad and internet tracker blocking application. From 6.0 to before 6.5, client hostnames and IP addresses from the FTL database are rendered into the DOM without escaping in network.js (Network page) and charts.js/index.js (Dashboard chart tooltips). While upstream validation in dnsmasq and FTL blocks HTML characters via normal DHCP/DNS paths, the web UI performs no output escaping — an inconsistency with other fields in the same file that are properly escaped. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.5.

A vulnerability in the DHCP snooping feature of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause BOOTP packets to be forwarded between VLANs, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to improper handling of BOOTP packets on Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series Switches. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending BOOTP request packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to forward BOOTP packets from one VLAN to another, resulting in BOOTP VLAN leakage and potentially leading to high CPU utilization. This makes the device unreachable (either through console or remote management) and unable to forward traffic, resulting in a DoS condition. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited with either unicast or broadcast BOOTP packets. There are workarounds that address this vulnerability.

Sending a maliciously crafted message to the kea-ctrl-agent, kea-dhcp-ddns, kea-dhcp4, or kea-dhcp6 daemons over any configured API socket or HA listener can cause the receiving daemon to exit with a stack overflow error. This issue affects Kea versions 2.6.0 through 2.6.4 and 3.0.0 through 3.0.2.

LDAP Account Manager (LAM) is a webfrontend for managing entries (e.g. users, groups, DHCP settings) stored in an LDAP directory. Prior to version 9.5, the PDF export component does not correctly validate uploaded file extensions. This way any file type (including .php files) can be uploaded. With GHSA-w7xq-vjr3-p9cf, an attacker can achieve remote code execution as the web server user. Version 9.5 fixes the issue. Although upgrading is recommended, a workaround would be to make /var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config read-only for the web-server user.

Prior to version 9.5, a local file inclusion was detected in the PDF export that allows users to include local PHP files and this way execute code. In combination with GHSA-88hf-2cjm-m9g8 this allows to execute arbitrary code. Users need to login to LAM to exploit this vulnerability. Version 9.5 fixes the issue. Although upgrading is recommended, a workaround would be to make /var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config read-only for the web-server user and delete the PDF profile files (making PDF exports impossible).
