SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, he tooltip mouseover handler in app/src/block/popover.ts reads aria-label via getAttribute and passes it through decodeURIComponent before assigning to messageElement.innerHTML in app/src/dialog/tooltip.ts:41. The encoder used at the producer side, escapeAriaLabel in app/src/util/escape.ts:19-25, only handles HTML special characters (", ', <, literal &lt;) — it leaves %XX URL-escapes untouched. So a doc title containing %3Cimg src=x onerror=...%3E round-trips through escapeAriaLabel and the HTML attribute layer unmodified. Then decodeURIComponent on the consumer side converts %3C to a literal < character (a real <, NOT a character reference). When that string is assigned to innerHTML, the HTML5 tokenizer enters TagOpenState on the literal <, parses the <img> element, and the onerror handler fires. Because the renderer runs with nodeIntegration: true, contextIsolation: false, webSecurity: false (app/electron/main.js:407-411), require('child_process') is reachable from the injected handler, escalating to arbitrary code execution.This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.

Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From to before 15.5.16 and 16.2.5, applications using Partial Prerendering through the Cache Components feature can be vulnerable to connection exhaustion through crafted POST requests to a server action. In affected configurations, a malicious request can trigger a request-body handling deadlock that leaves connections open for an extended period, consuming file descriptors and server capacity until legitimate users are denied service. This vulnerability is fixed in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Set/clear CR8 write interception when AVIC is (de)activated Explicitly set/clear CR8 write interception when AVIC is (de)activated to fix a bug where KVM leaves the interception enabled after AVIC is activated. E.g. if KVM emulates INIT=>WFS while AVIC is deactivated, CR8 will remain intercepted in perpetuity. On its own, the dangling CR8 intercept is "just" a performance issue, but combined with the TPR sync bug fixed by commit d02e48830e3f ("KVM: SVM: Sync TPR from LAPIC into VMCB::V_TPR even if AVIC is active"), the danging intercept is fatal to Windows guests as the TPR seen by hardware gets wildly out of sync with reality. Note, VMX isn't affected by the bug as TPR_THRESHOLD is explicitly ignored when Virtual Interrupt Delivery is enabled, i.e. when APICv is active in KVM's world. I.e. there's no need to trigger update_cr8_intercept(), this is firmly an SVM implementation flaw/detail. This requires that the attacker is able to position itself between Dovecot and the client connection. If successful, the attacker can eavesdrop communications between Dovecot and client as MITM proxy. Install fixed version. No publicly available exploits are known.

DeepChat is an open-source artificial intelligence agent platform that unifies models, tools, and agents. Prior to v1.0.4-beta.1, An incomplete mitigation for CVE-2025-55733 leaves DeepChat vulnerable to an arbitrary protocol execution bypass (RCE). While the patch correctly restricted api.openExternal() inside the renderer's preload/index.ts script, it structurally neglected to sanitize native Electron pop-up window handlers. An attacker or a compromised AI endpoint returning a Markdown link can trigger a target="_blank" native window interception in tabPresenter.ts, which forwards the malicious URL directly to shell.openExternal(url) and completely bypasses the isValidExternalUrl security boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.0.4-beta.1.

jq is a command-line JSON processor. In 1.8.1 and earlier, Top-level jq programs loaded from a file with -f are truncated at the first embedded NUL byte on current upstream HEAD. A crafted filter file such as . followed by \x00 and arbitrary suffix compiles and executes as only the prefix before the NUL. This leaves jq with a post-CVE-2026-33948 prefix/full-buffer mismatch on the compilation path even though the JSON parser path has already been fixed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: unshare: fix unshare_fs() handling There's an unpleasant corner case in unshare(2), when we have a CLONE_NEWNS in flags and current->fs hadn't been shared at all; in that case copy_mnt_ns() gets passed current->fs instead of a private copy, which causes interesting warts in proof of correctness] > I guess if private means fs->users == 1, the condition could still be true. Unfortunately, it's worse than just a convoluted proof of correctness. Consider the case when we have CLONE_NEWCGROUP in addition to CLONE_NEWNS (and current->fs->users == 1). We pass current->fs to copy_mnt_ns(), all right. Suppose it succeeds and flips current->fs->{pwd,root} to corresponding locations in the new namespace. Now we proceed to copy_cgroup_ns(), which fails (e.g. with -ENOMEM). We call put_mnt_ns() on the namespace created by copy_mnt_ns(), it's destroyed and its mount tree is dissolved, but... current->fs->root and current->fs->pwd are both left pointing to now detached mounts. They are pinning those, so it's not a UAF, but it leaves the calling process with unshare(2) failing with -ENOMEM _and_ leaving it with pwd and root on detached isolated mounts. The last part is clearly a bug. There is other fun related to that mess (races with pivot_root(), including the one between pivot_root() and fork(), of all things), but this one is easy to isolate and fix - treat CLONE_NEWNS as "allocate a new fs_struct even if it hadn't been shared in the first place". Sure, we could go for something like "if both CLONE_NEWNS *and* one of the things that might end up failing after copy_mnt_ns() call in create_new_namespaces() are set, force allocation of new fs_struct", but let's keep it simple - the cost of copy_fs_struct() is trivial. Another benefit is that copy_mnt_ns() with CLONE_NEWNS *always* gets a freshly allocated fs_struct, yet to be attached to anything. That seriously simplifies the analysis... FWIW, that bug had been there since the introduction of unshare(2) ;-/

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: core: Limit the length of unkillable synchronous timeouts The usb_control_msg(), usb_bulk_msg(), and usb_interrupt_msg() APIs in usbcore allow unlimited timeout durations. And since they use uninterruptible waits, this leaves open the possibility of hanging a task for an indefinitely long time, with no way to kill it short of unplugging the target device. To prevent this sort of problem, enforce a maximum limit on the length of these unkillable timeouts. The limit chosen here, somewhat arbitrarily, is 60 seconds. On many systems (although not all) this is short enough to avoid triggering the kernel's hung-task detector. In addition, clear up the ambiguity of negative timeout values by treating them the same as 0, i.e., using the maximum allowed timeout.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: memfd_luo: always dirty all folios A dirty folio is one which has been written to. A clean folio is its opposite. Since a clean folio has no user data, it can be freed under memory pressure. memfd preservation with LUO saves the flag at preserve(). This is problematic. The folio might get dirtied later. Saving it at freeze() also doesn't work, since the dirty bit from PTE is normally synced at unmap and there might still be mappings of the file at freeze(). To see why this is a problem, say a folio is clean at preserve, but gets dirtied later. The serialized state of the folio will mark it as clean. After retrieve, the next kernel will see the folio as clean and might try to reclaim it under memory pressure. This will result in losing user data. Mark all folios of the file as dirty, and always set the MEMFD_LUO_FOLIO_DIRTY flag. This comes with the side effect of making all clean folios un-reclaimable. This is a cost that has to be paid for participants of live update. It is not expected to be a common use case to preserve a lot of clean folios anyway. Since the value of pfolio->flags is a constant now, drop the flags variable and set it directly.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/core: clear walk_control on inactive context in damos_walk() damos_walk() sets ctx->walk_control to the caller-provided control structure before checking whether the context is running. If the context is inactive (damon_is_running() returns false), the function returns -EINVAL without clearing ctx->walk_control. This leaves a dangling pointer to a stack-allocated structure that will be freed when the caller returns. This is structurally identical to the bug fixed in commit f9132fbc2e83 ("mm/damon/core: remove call_control in inactive contexts") for damon_call(), which had the same pattern of linking a control object and returning an error without unlinking it. The dangling walk_control pointer can cause: 1. Use-after-free if the context is later started and kdamond    dereferences ctx->walk_control (e.g., in damos_walk_cancel()    which writes to control->canceled and calls complete()) 2. Permanent -EBUSY from subsequent damos_walk() calls, since the    stale pointer is non-NULL Nonetheless, the real user impact is quite restrictive. The use-after-free is impossible because there is no damos_walk() callers who starts the context later. The permanent -EBUSY can actually confuse users, as DAMON is not running. But the symptom is kept only while the context is turned off. Turning it on again will make DAMON internally uses a newly generated damon_ctx object that doesn't have the invalid damos_walk_control pointer, so everything will work fine again. Fix this by clearing ctx->walk_control under walk_control_lock before returning -EINVAL, mirroring the fix pattern from f9132fbc2e83.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/crypto: chacha: Zeroize permuted_state before it leaves scope Since the ChaCha permutation is invertible, the local variable 'permuted_state' is sufficient to compute the original 'state', and thus the key, even after the permutation has been done. While the kernel is quite inconsistent about zeroizing secrets on the stack (and some prominent userspace crypto libraries don't bother at all since it's not guaranteed to work anyway), the kernel does try to do it as a best practice, especially in cases involving the RNG. Thus, explicitly zeroize 'permuted_state' before it goes out of scope.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: cadence-quadspi: Parse DT for flashes with the rest of the DT parsing The recent refactoring of where runtime PM is enabled done in commit f1eb4e792bb1 ("spi: spi-cadence-quadspi: Enable pm runtime earlier to avoid imbalance") made the fact that when we do a pm_runtime_disable() in the error paths of probe() we can trigger a runtime disable which in turn results in duplicate clock disables. This is particularly likely to happen when there is missing or broken DT description for the flashes attached to the controller. Early on in the probe function we do a pm_runtime_get_noresume() since the probe function leaves the device in a powered up state but in the error path we can't assume that PM is enabled so we also manually disable everything, including clocks. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: esp: avoid in-place decrypt on shared skb frags MSG_SPLICE_PAGES can attach pages from a pipe directly to an skb. TCP marks such skbs with SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG after skb_splice_from_iter(), so later paths that may modify packet data can first make a private copy. The IPv4/IPv6 datagram append paths did not set this flag when splicing pages into UDP skbs. That leaves an ESP-in-UDP packet made from shared pipe pages looking like an ordinary uncloned nonlinear skb. ESP input then takes the no-COW fast path for uncloned skbs without a frag_list and decrypts in place over data that is not owned privately by the skb. Mark IPv4/IPv6 datagram splice frags with SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG, matching TCP. Also make ESP input fall back to skb_cow_data() when the flag is present, so ESP does not decrypt externally backed frags in place. Private nonlinear skb frags still use the existing fast path. This intentionally does not change ESP output. In esp_output_head(), the path that appends the ESP trailer to existing skb tailroom without calling skb_cow_data() is not reachable for nonlinear skbs: skb_tailroom() returns zero when skb->data_len is nonzero, while ESP tailen is positive. Thus ESP output will either use the separate destination-frag path or fall back to skb_cow_data().

Admidio is an open-source user management solution. Prior to version 5.0.9, Role::stopMembership() does not verify whether removing a user from the administrator role leaves zero administrators. The deprecated Membership::stopMembership() contains this safety check, but the current code path bypasses it. Any administrator can remove the last remaining other administrator, locking the entire system out of administrative access. The exploit does not require concurrent requests; sequential removals produce the same result. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.9.

Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. In versions 8.30.1 and earlier, the metadata write endpoint validates metadata keys for control characters but leaves metadata values unsanitized. A newline character in a metadata value splits the ExifTool stdin line into two separate arguments, allowing injection of arbitrary ExifTool pseudo-tags such as -FileName, -Directory, -SymLink, and -HardLink. This is a bypass of the incomplete key-sanitization fix introduced in v8.30.1. An unauthenticated attacker can rename or move any PDF being processed to an arbitrary path in the container filesystem, overwrite arbitrary files, or create symlinks and hard links at arbitrary paths.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kcm: fix zero-frag skb in frag_list on partial sendmsg error Syzkaller reported a warning in kcm_write_msgs() when processing a message with a zero-fragment skb in the frag_list. When kcm_sendmsg() fills MAX_SKB_FRAGS fragments in the current skb, it allocates a new skb (tskb) and links it into the frag_list before copying data. If the copy subsequently fails (e.g. -EFAULT from user memory), tskb remains in the frag_list with zero fragments: head skb (msg being assembled, NOT yet in sk_write_queue) +-----------+ | frags[17] | (MAX_SKB_FRAGS, all filled with data) | frag_list-+--> tskb +-----------+ +----------+ | frags[0] | (empty! copy failed before filling) +----------+ For SOCK_SEQPACKET with partial data already copied, the error path saves this message via partial_message for later completion. For SOCK_SEQPACKET, sock_write_iter() automatically sets MSG_EOR, so a subsequent zero-length write(fd, NULL, 0) completes the message and queues it to sk_write_queue. kcm_write_msgs() then walks the frag_list and hits: WARN_ON(!skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags) TCP has a similar pattern where skbs are enqueued before data copy and cleaned up on failure via tcp_remove_empty_skb(). KCM was missing the equivalent cleanup. Fix this by tracking the predecessor skb (frag_prev) when allocating a new frag_list entry. On error, if the tail skb has zero frags, use frag_prev to unlink and free it in O(1) without walking the singly-linked frag_list. frag_prev is safe to dereference because the entire message chain is only held locally (or in kcm->seq_skb) and is not added to sk_write_queue until MSG_EOR, so the send path cannot free it underneath us. Also change the WARN_ON to WARN_ON_ONCE to avoid flooding the log if the condition is somehow hit repeatedly. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: No shortcut out of RDS_CONN_ERROR RDS connections carry a state "rds_conn_path::cp_state" and transitions from one state to another and are conditional upon an expected state: "rds_conn_path_transition." There is one exception to this conditionality, which is "RDS_CONN_ERROR" that can be enforced by "rds_conn_path_drop" regardless of what state the condition is currently in. But as soon as a connection enters state "RDS_CONN_ERROR", the connection handling code expects it to go through the shutdown-path. The RDS/TCP multipath changes added a shortcut out of "RDS_CONN_ERROR" straight back to "RDS_CONN_CONNECTING" via "rds_tcp_accept_one_path" (e.g. after "rds_tcp_state_change"). A subsequent "rds_tcp_reset_callbacks" can then transition the state to "RDS_CONN_RESETTING" with a shutdown-worker queued. That'll trip up "rds_conn_init_shutdown", which was never adjusted to handle "RDS_CONN_RESETTING" and subsequently drops the connection with the dreaded "DR_INV_CONN_STATE", which leaves "RDS_SHUTDOWN_WORK_QUEUED" on forever. So we do two things here: a) Don't shortcut "RDS_CONN_ERROR", but take the longer path through the shutdown code. b) Add "RDS_CONN_RESETTING" to the expected states in "rds_conn_init_shutdown" so that we won't error out and get stuck, if we ever hit weird state transitions like this again."

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cpsw_new: Fix potential unregister of netdev that has not been registered yet If an error occurs during register_netdev() for the first MAC in cpsw_register_ports(), even though cpsw->slaves[0].ndev is set to NULL, cpsw->slaves[1].ndev would remain unchanged. This could later cause cpsw_unregister_ports() to attempt unregistering the second MAC. To address this, add a check for ndev->reg_state before calling unregister_netdev(). With this change, setting cpsw->slaves[i].ndev to NULL becomes unnecessary and can be removed accordingly.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: s3fwrn5: allocate rx skb before consuming bytes s3fwrn82_uart_read() reports the number of accepted bytes to the serdev core. The current code consumes bytes into recv_skb and may already deliver a complete frame before allocating a fresh receive buffer. If that alloc_skb() fails, the callback returns 0 even though it has already consumed bytes, and it leaves recv_skb as NULL for the next receive callback. That breaks the receive_buf() accounting contract and can also lead to a NULL dereference on the next skb_put_u8(). Allocate the receive skb lazily before consuming the next byte instead. If allocation fails, return the number of bytes already accepted.
