A flaw was found in the full-scope-disabled client-policy executor within the keycloak-services component. This component is responsible for enforcing security policies during client registration and configuration in Red Hat Build of Keycloak. The issue occurs because the executor only validates the fullScopeAllowed field when it is explicitly provided in a request. By omitting this field, a delegated user can bypass the policy, resulting in a client created with full scope access. This allows the client to obtain tokens with unauthorized role mappings.

A flaw was found in the RoleContainerResource component of Keycloak. The issue occurs because certain name-based endpoints in the admin REST API do not properly enforce authorization checks when managing composite roles. This allows a delegated administrator with manage-realm permissions to remove essential child roles from built-in admin roles, potentially disrupting administrative functions within a realm.

The Fluent Forms WordPress plugin before 6.2.6 does not sanitise and escape one of its form field configuration settings before outputting it inside an inline script when a form is rendered, which could allow users with a role as low as Contributor (with delegated form-management permission, and therefore lacking the unfiltered_html capability, e.g. in a multisite setup) to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute in the browser of any visitor who loads the form, including administrators previewing it.

When applying replicated changes for a row that is missing one or more columns, pglogical evaluates the affected table's default expressions on the subscriber. Because the apply worker runs at a privilege level equivalent to a PostgreSQL superuser in default installations, any function invoked by such a default expression also runs at that privilege. A party acting as the publisher can use this path to cause functions to be executed on the subscriber as superuser, escalating from a role permitted to use pglogical to full superuser. This is a second, independent path to the same superuser escalation tracked under CVE-2026-50736 (the pglogical queue issue). To exploit the issue an attacker must be able to direct a subscription at an endpoint they control. In default installations this requires privileges normally reserved for a superuser, so the issue is most relevant to managed deployments where the ability to create subscriptions has been delegated to non-superuser roles.

The pglogical queue mechanism, used to convey out-of-band commands such as replicated DDL from a publisher to a subscriber, executes message payloads on the subscriber at the privilege level of the apply worker, which is equivalent to a PostgreSQL superuser in default installations. A party acting as the publisher can send crafted queue messages that cause arbitrary SQL to be executed on the subscriber as superuser, escalating from a role permitted to use pglogical to full superuser and breaking the isolation between tenants in shared deployments. To exploit the issue an attacker must be able to direct a subscription at an endpoint they control. In default installations this requires privileges normally reserved for a superuser, so the issue is most relevant to managed deployments where the ability to create subscriptions has been delegated to non-superuser roles.

pglogical's apply worker does not sufficiently validate the length of certain fields in incoming replication protocol messages before copying them, resulting in an out-of-bounds read. A party acting as the publisher for a subscription, for example a non-PostgreSQL endpoint that speaks the pglogical replication protocol, can return crafted messages that cause the subscriber's apply worker to read beyond the bounds of an allocated buffer, disclosing adjacent process memory or crashing the worker. To exploit the issue an attacker must be able to direct a subscription at an endpoint they control. In default installations this requires privileges normally reserved for a superuser, so the issue is most relevant to managed deployments where the ability to create subscriptions has been delegated to non-superuser roles.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4: include MAY_WRITE in open permission mask for O_TRUNC POSIX requires write permission to truncate a file, so an open() that specifies O_TRUNC must be authorized for write access regardless of the O_ACCMODE access mode. nfs_open_permission_mask() builds the access mask passed to nfs_may_open(), which is the local authorization gate for OPENs the client serves itself from a cached write delegation via the can_open_delegated() path in nfs4_try_open_cached(). The mask is derived from O_ACCMODE alone, so an open(O_RDONLY | O_TRUNC) against a file the caller cannot write requests only MAY_READ and passes the local check. The OPEN is then satisfied locally and the truncation is issued to the server as a SETATTR(size=0) over the delegation stateid, which the server accepts under standard write-delegation semantics. POSIX requires that this open fail with EACCES. Include MAY_WRITE in the mask whenever O_TRUNC is set so the local check matches the access the server would have enforced.

A flaw was found in the Keycloak Admin REST API, which is used to manage security realms and clients. The issue occurs when the system processes requests for rotated client secrets that are stored in a secure vault. Due to improper boundary enforcement, a delegated administrator with view-only permissions can retrieve the actual resolved secret instead of the vault placeholder, leading to the exposure of sensitive credentials.

In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.23.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when 'dns-error-reporting: yes' is set, the EDNS Report-Channel option (code 18) from the last upstream response is read and uses the option's length as the length of the agent domain. When a domain name check is performed on the agent domain, the returned lenght is not used and if the agent domain is followed by garbage, those bytes are moved onto the tail of the synthetic '_er.' report query name. That query name is later used in the iterator via a subquery to send out the DNS Error Report and when Unbound tries to walk that query name during 'find_closest_of_type()', it strips labels using the query name length rather than stopping at the embedded root, walks one byte past it, and feeds the first garbage byte to 'dname_query_hash()' as a label length writing over the stack variable 'labuf'. One ordinary upstream response from a delegated zone the attacker controls is sufficient to terminate the daemon.

In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.10.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when 'serve-expired: yes' is set together with a 'response-ip: <net> redirect' /'response-ip-data: <net> CNAME <target>' rule (or the RPZ 'rpz-cname-override' equivalent), a remote client who controls any delegated domain can crash the daemon. The serve-expired-client-timeout callback runs a two-pass loop to chase the respip-generated CNAME alias; on the second pass it resets 'alias_rrset' but not 'partial_rep'. Later, this inconsistency leads to a NULL pointer dereference and an eventual crash. A malicious actor can exploit the vulnerability by controlling any zone that replies with an A/AAAA record that falls inside the configured response-ip/rpz subnet. By delaying the answer when the previous record has expired, the vulnerable path of 'serve-expired-client-timeout' is taken leading to denial of service via the server crash.

In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.7.0 up to and including 1.25.1, insufficient validation of the RRSIG.Labels field combined with premature cache writes during RFC 8198 aggressive NSEC processing leads to cache poisoning that permits a malicious actor controlling a single delegated zone to poison arbitrary sibling zones under NSEC-signed parent domains. A malicious actor with one registered domain under an NSEC-signed TLD can serve malicious insecure DNS responses for unrelated sibling domains (sharing the same parent zone). Arbitrary delegations that do not exist under the parent domain and are covered by the parent's NSEC chain can be brought into insecure existence by fraudulent wildcard DS records (less labels than expected, unknown algorithm) from the malicious sibling domain. This allows the malicious actor to inject insecure wildcard records for those delegations.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: efi: Allocate runtime workqueue before ACPI init Since commit 5894cf571e14 ("acpi/prmt: Use EFI runtime sandbox to invoke PRM handlers") ACPI PRM calls are delegated to a workqueue which runs in a kernel thread, making it easier to detect and mitigate faulting memory accesses performed by the firmware. Rafael reports that such PRM accesses may occur before efisubsys_init() executes, which is where the workqueue is allocated, leading to NULL pointer dereferences. Since acpi_init() [which triggers the early PRM accesses] executes as a subsys_initcall() as well, and has its own dependencies that may be sensitive to initcall ordering, deferring acpi_init() is not an option. So instead, split off the workqueue allocation into its own postcore initcall, as this is the only missing piece to allow EFI runtime calls to be made. This ensures that EFI runtime call (including PRM calls) are accessible to all code running at subsys_initcall() level.

A flaw was found in the Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP) v2 implementation within Keycloak's administrative services. When FGAP v2 is enabled, the system fails to properly filter child groups based on the caller's specific permissions when requested through a parent group. This allows a delegated administrator to view details of child groups they are not authorized to access directly, including group names, paths, and custom attributes.

A flaw was found in the ClientResource component of Keycloak's admin services when Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP) v2 is enabled. This issue allows a delegated administrator, who should only have limited control over specific clients, to attach or remove hidden client scopes that they are not authorized to see or manage. As a result, an attacker could inject unauthorized data or permissions into the security tokens issued to end-users, potentially tricking other applications into granting higher levels of access than intended.

MISP contained multiple mass assignment vulnerabilities in the handling of collections, tag collections, event delegations, and shadow attributes. Several controller actions accepted user-supplied fields that should have remained server-controlled, including record identifiers and ownership-related fields such as id, org_id, orgc_id, and user_id. An authenticated attacker with access to the affected endpoints could craft requests containing protected fields in order to alter object ownership, redirect an update to another record, overwrite existing event delegation requests, or modify shadow attribute proposals belonging to another organization. This could result in unauthorized modification of MISP objects and, depending on object visibility and sharing configuration, unauthorized access to or transfer of sensitive threat intelligence data. The issue was fixed by explicitly pinning ownership and identity fields to their stored values during edit operations and by removing user-supplied primary keys from create-only save paths. Mattermost versions 11.6.x <= 11.6.1, 11.5.x <= 11.5.4, 10.11.x <= 10.11.15, 10.11.x <= 10.11.16 fail to require system-level permission when patching protected default system roles, which allows authenticated users with delegated user-management permissions to escalate privileges by altering built-in role permissions via the role patch API.. Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, SimpleTrustManagerFactory.engineGetTrustManagers() and related paths wrap any user-supplied plain X509TrustManager in X509TrustManagerWrapper, which extends X509ExtendedTrustManager but implements the 3-arg checkServerTrusted(chain, authType, SSLEngine) by discarding the SSLEngine and calling the 2-arg delegate. Because the object now IS an X509ExtendedTrustManager, neither SunJSSE's internal AbstractTrustManagerWrapper nor Netty's own OpenSslX509TrustManagerWrapper will re-wrap it to add endpoint-identification. Consequently, even though Netty 4.2 sets endpointIdentificationAlgorithm="HTTPS" by default, a client built with `SslContextBuilder.forClient().trustManager(somePlainX509TrustManager)` performs no hostname verification at all. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.

A flaw was found in the admin-ui-ext component of Keycloak, which provides extended administrative user interface capabilities. The issue occurs because certain bulk role-removal endpoints fail to perform granular permission checks when deleting role mappings. This allows a delegated administrator with limited permissions to remove highly privileged roles from other users or groups, potentially disrupting administrative access control.

In ScreenConnect™ versions prior to 26.2, input validation within the Host Pass creation functionality could allow an authenticated user with Host Pass creation privileges the ability to specify a token expiration duration beyond the intended maximum when generating delegated access tokens.

Jenkins 2.567 and earlier, LTS 2.555.2 and earlier does not ensure that the "from" parameter in the "Delegate to servlet container" security realm is safe to redirect to after login, allowing attackers to perform phishing attacks by redirecting users to an attacker-controlled domain.

A flaw was found in org.keycloak.services. An administrator with delegated access to read group memberships and users can bypass user profile permissions by accessing the group members endpoint. This allows the administrator to view user attributes that are explicitly configured to be denied, leading to information disclosure.
