The Newsletters WordPress plugin before 4.16 does not authenticate or validate a bounce-processing request before fetching a user-supplied URL on the server side, allowing unauthenticated attackers to make the site issue requests to arbitrary internal or external hosts.
The Groundhogg — CRM, Newsletters, and Marketing Automation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.2 via the GET /wp-json/gh/v4/contacts/<id> REST endpoint. The endpoint's permission callback checks only the role-level view_contacts capability and read_single() returns the full contact record by sequential integer ID without the object-level view_contact ownership check applied elsewhere in the codebase. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding view_contacts but not view_others_contacts — notably Groundhogg's built-in Sales Rep role, designed to see only its own contacts — to read any contact record on the site, including PII, contact meta, owner IDs, the admin edit URL, and (for contacts linked to a WordPress user) that user's full capability set.
The SendPulse Email Marketing Newsletter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via _sp_form_code Post Meta in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker to create a sendpulse_form post containing a benign SendPulse loader script tag alongside arbitrary HTML (e.g., an img onerror payload), which bypasses the allow-list check and executes in the browser of any user — including administrators — who previews or views a page rendering the [sendpulse-form] shortcode.
