The Simple Google Calendar Outlook Events Widget WordPress plugin before 3.1.0 does not validate a user-supplied URL before performing a server-side request, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform Server-Side Request Forgery attacks and, in some cases, read the response of the internal request.

The Simple Membership WordPress plugin before 4.7.8 does not sanitise a subscriber name value received from an unauthenticated payment approval request, nor escape it when displaying it in the administration dashboard, allowing unauthenticated attackers to store arbitrary JavaScript that executes in an administrator's session.

The Simple Membership WordPress plugin before 4.7.8 does not verify whether user creation failed during registration before using the returned value as a user ID to update an account, allowing unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the primary administrator's account data (including the email address) and take over that account through the password reset flow.

The Simple Restrict WordPress plugin before 1.2.9 does not enforce its content-restriction permission check on the REST API the way it does on the front end, relying there on a generic capability check instead of the Simple Restrict WordPress plugin before 1.2.9's own permission system, allowing users with contributor-level access or above to read the content of restricted posts and pages they were never granted access to.

The fix for CVE-2026-12045 in pgAdmin 4 9.16 required the LLM-supplied query passed to the AI Assistant's execute_sql_query tool to parse, via sqlparse, as exactly one non-transaction-control statement before running it inside a BEGIN TRANSACTION READ ONLY wrapper. sqlparse's string-literal lexing can disagree with PostgreSQL's own parser: under standard_conforming_strings = on (PostgreSQL's default since 9.1), a backslash immediately before a quote is an ordinary character to PostgreSQL, but sqlparse treats it as escaping the quote. A payload such as SELECT '\';COMMIT;CREATE TABLE pwn(x int);SELECT 1 --' therefore parses as a single SELECT to sqlparse's validator, while PostgreSQL executes it as four statements: the smuggled COMMIT ends the wrapping read-only transaction, and the trailing ROLLBACK becomes a no-op. This reintroduces the same write/RCE bypass CVE-2026-12045 was meant to close, reachable via the same indirect prompt-injection delivery (an attacker plants the payload in any object the AI Assistant may read; the LLM emits it as a tool call). An initial candidate fix ran the query with psycopg's execute(..., prepare=True), intending to force PostgreSQL's own Parse step (extended query protocol) to reject multi-statement text regardless of sqlparse's classification. This candidate fix does not work as submitted: psycopg3's PrepareManager silently ignores the prepare argument whenever the connection's prepare_threshold is None, which is pgAdmin's default for every server connection (the per-server "Prepare threshold" field is blank unless an administrator explicitly sets it) -- psycopg3 falls back to the simple query protocol, the same multi-statement-capable path the bypass exploits, so the candidate fix closes nothing on any real-world default configuration. The corrected fix sets conn.prepare_threshold = 0 directly on the dedicated, single-use read-only connection the AI Assistant tool opens, structurally forcing the extended query protocol independent of any server-level configuration. Verified against a live PostgreSQL 18 instance: the payload executes successfully under the prepare_threshold=None (default) behavior, and is rejected with "cannot insert multiple commands into a prepared statement" once prepare_threshold=0 is set on that connection. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from 9.13 before 9.17.

A flaw was found in the group policy evaluation logic of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. When a group policy is set to extend permissions to child groups, the system incorrectly uses a simple text-based prefix check to verify group membership. This allows a user who belongs to a different group with a similar starting name to bypass security checks and gain unauthorized access to administrative functions or protected resources.

Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a simple template language. In versions prior to 2.4.3, banks parses Tool JSON objects from the rendered body of {% completion %} blocks and later resolves their import_path field through importlib.import_module(...) + getattr(...) to obtain the callable that handles a tool call. There is no allowlist or sanitization on import_path, so any importable Python attribute (e.g. os.system, subprocess.getoutput) can be selected. When the LLM emits a tool_calls entry whose function.name matches the attacker-supplied tool name, the resolved callable is invoked with kwargs decoded from tool_call.function.arguments, yielding arbitrary code execution in the banks-hosting process. This is distinct from GHSA-gphh-9q3h-jgpp / CVE-2026-44209. That advisory was fixed in 2.4.2 by switching src/banks/env.py from Environment to SandboxedEnvironment. The fix does not touch src/banks/extensions/completion.py, and the unsafe import + getattr chain still executes on 2.4.2. The malicious Tool JSON is plain text in the rendered template body — it requires no Jinja attribute access, so the sandbox is irrelevant. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.3.

Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a simple template language. In versions prior to 2.4.4, all four media filters (image, audio, video, document) in banks accept untrusted user input as file paths via Path(value) and pass them directly to open(file_path, "rb") without any path sanitization, canonicalization, or directory restriction. An attacker who controls template variables passed to a banks Prompt can use path traversal (../) to read arbitrary files accessible to the Python process—including .env files, SSH keys, cloud credentials, source code, /etc/passwd, and /etc/shadow—with the content returned base64-encoded in the rendered prompt output, making exfiltration trivial. This is particularly dangerous for applications that use banks to process user-provided template variables before sending prompts to an LLM. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.4.

OliveTin gives safe and simple access to predefined shell commands from a web interface. Prior to 3000.17.0, the service/internal/api/api.go StartActionAndWait and StartActionByGetAndWait endpoints return full LogEntry output after execution without enforcing the logs permission, allowing a user with exec permission but logs:false to read action output. This issue is fixed in version 3000.17.0.

Unauthenticated Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Simple Link Directory Pro <= 15.0.6 versions.

Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: appleir: fix UAF on pending key_up_timer in remove() appleir_remove() runs hid_hw_stop() before timer_delete_sync(). hid_hw_stop() synchronously unregisters the HID input device via hid_disconnect() -> hidinput_disconnect() -> input_unregister_device(), which drops the last reference and frees the underlying input_dev when no userspace handle holds it open. key_up_tick() reads appleir->input_dev and calls input_report_key() / input_sync() on it. The timer is armed from appleir_raw_event() with a HZ/8 (~125 ms) timeout on every keydown and key-repeat report. If a key was pressed shortly before the device is disconnected, the timer can fire after hid_hw_stop() has freed input_dev but before the teardown drains it. A simple reorder is not sufficient. Putting the timer drain first still leaves a window where a USB URB completion (raw_event) running during hid_hw_stop() can call mod_timer() and re-arm the timer, which then fires after hidinput_disconnect() has freed input_dev. The same URB-completion window also lets raw_event() reach key_up(), key_down() and battery_flat() directly, all of which dereference appleir->input_dev. Introduce a 'removing' flag on struct appleir, gated by the existing spinlock. appleir_remove() sets the flag under the lock and then shuts down the timer with timer_shutdown_sync(), which both drains any in-flight callback and permanently disables further mod_timer() calls. appleir_raw_event() and key_up_tick() bail out early if the flag is set, so no path can arm or run the timer, or dereference appleir->input_dev, after remove() has started tearing down. The keyrepeat and flatbattery branches of appleir_raw_event() previously called into the input layer without holding the spinlock; take it now so the flag check is well-defined. This incidentally closes a pre-existing read-side race on appleir->current_key in the keyrepeat branch. This bug is structurally a sibling of commit 4db2af929279 ("HID: appletb-kbd: fix UAF in inactivity-timer cleanup path") and has been present since the driver was introduced.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse-uring: fix EFAULT clobber in fuse_uring_commit copy_from_user() returns the number of bytes not copied as an unsigned residual on failure (1..sizeof(struct fuse_out_header)). fuse_uring_commit stores that residual in ssize_t err, sets req->out.h.error to -EFAULT, then jumps to out: with err still holding the positive residual. err = copy_from_user(&req->out.h, &ent->headers->in_out, sizeof(req->out.h)); if (err) { req->out.h.error = -EFAULT; goto out; /* err is the positive residual */ } ... out: fuse_uring_req_end(ent, req, err); fuse_uring_req_end() then runs if (error) req->out.h.error = error; which overwrites the just-assigned -EFAULT with the positive residual. FUSE callers such as fuse_simple_request() test err < 0 to detect failure, so the positive value is interpreted as success and the caller proceeds with an uninitialised or partial req->out.args. Fix by assigning err = -EFAULT in the failure branch before jumping to out, so fuse_uring_req_end() receives a negative errno and sets req->out.h.error to -EFAULT.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: codecs: simple-mux: Fix enum control bounds check simple_mux_control_put() rejects values greater than e->items, but enum control values are zero based. For the two-entry mux used by this driver, valid values are 0 and 1, so value 2 must be rejected as well. Accepting e->items can store an invalid mux state, pass it to the GPIO setter, and pass it on to the DAPM mux update path where it is used as an index into the enum text array. Use the same >= e->items check used by the ASoC enum helpers.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: bla: avoid double decrement of bla.num_requests The bla.num_requests is increased when no request_sent was in progress. And it is decremented in various places (announcement was received, backbone is purged, periodic work). But the check if the request_sent is actually set to a specific state and the atomic_dec/_inc are not safe because they are not atomic (TOCTOU) and multiple such code portions can run concurrently. At the same time, it is necessary to modify request_sent (state) and bla.num_requests atomically. Otherwise batadv_bla_send_request() might set request_sent to 1 and is interrupted. batadv_handle_announce() can then set request_sent back to 0 and decrement num_requests before batadv_bla_send_request() incremented it. The two operations must therefore be locked. And since state (request_sent) and wait_periods are only accessed inside this lock, they can be converted to simpler datatypes. And to avoid that the bla.num_requests is touched by a parallel running context with a valid backbone_gw reference after batadv_bla_purge_backbone_gw() ran, a third state "stopped" is required to correctly signal that a backbone_gw is in the state of being cleaned up.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: security/keys: fix missed RCU read section on lookup Nicholas Carlini reports that the keyring code calls assoc_array_find() in find_key_to_update() without holding the RCU read lock, while the assoc_array_gc() code really is designed around removing the node from the tree and then freeing it after an RCU grace-period. The regular key handling doesn't see this because holding the keyring semaphore hides any lifetime issues, but the persistent key handling uses a different model. Instead of extending the keyring locking, just do the simple RCU locking that the assoc_array was designed for.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: Fix ethx:ingress -> ethy:egress -> ethx:ingress mirred loop When mirred redirects to ingress (from either ingress or egress) the loop state from sched_mirred_dev array dev is lost because of 1) the packet deferral into the backlog and 2) the fact the sched_mirred_dev array is cleared. In such cases, if there was a loop we won't discover it. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Prefer NLA_NUL_STRING These attributes are evaluated as c-string (passed to strcmp), but NLA_STRING doesn't check for the presence of a \0 terminator. Either this needs to switch to nla_strcmp() and needs to adjust printf fmt specifier to not use plain %s, or this needs to use NLA_NUL_STRING. As the code has been this way for long time, it seems to me that userspace does include the terminating nul, even tough its not enforced so far, and thus NLA_NUL_STRING use is the simpler solution.

Excon is usable, fast, simple HTTP 1.1 for Ruby. Prior to 1.5.0, Excon's RedirectFollower middleware failed to strip additional sensitive headers when following redirects and did not provide a custom list of headers to strip. This could cause inadvertent leakage of sensitive data when the initial request includes header information that is not intended for the new target. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.0.

SimpleSAMLphp versions before 1.18.6 contain an information disclosure vulnerability. Prior to 2.4.7 and 2.5.2, SimpleSAMLphp's SAML SP ACS path does not enforce the IdP selected for an SP-initiated login when unsigned Response/InResponseTo is combined with a signed assertion lacking SubjectConfirmationData/InResponseTo, allowing a response issued by one trusted IdP to be bound to SP state created for another IdP and bypass flows that route users to a specific IdP, including deployments that set enable_unsolicited to false. This issue is fixed in versions 2.4.7 and 2.5.2.

WordPress Simple-Backup 2.7.11 contains multiple vulnerabilities that allow unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files and download sensitive files by manipulating the delete_backup_file and download_backup_file parameters in tools.php. Attackers can exploit insufficient input validation using directory traversal techniques to access wp-config.php, database dumps, and other sensitive files, or delete critical files .htaccess to expose backup directories.
